Leather boxes

These beautiful boxes, made using traditional techniques and ecologically tanned leather, reflect the rich culture and craftsmanship of the Touareg.

First, the shape of a box is made of wood. For many round boxes
the circle is made of PVC pipe with a bottom and lid of wood. This is
very precise work because the box must always fit the bottom, rectangle
and lid.
The box is then sanded completely smooth to a nice, even box.

Finally, the ecological leather is stretched over the wooden box.

Some boxes have a beautiful detail of bronze or a motif print in the leather. The boxes are of very high quality and made with much attention and love.
